I'm back from Hong Kong Trip almost 2 weeks already, had wanted to jot some memories here but just couldnt find the time.

Departure - 18 Apr 2015

We drove to KL on Saturday 18 Apr around 3pm after Amran finished his work. We went straight to Cikpah's house who volunteered to send us to the airport. Reached there around 6pm, we had a small gathering with Yanie over small feast of ayam golek made special by Cikpah. Around 9pm, Gjoule sent us to Tune Hotel. They offered to send us in the morning but because the flight is at 7.10am and we have to be at KLIA2 at wee hours, we thought might as well we stay at Tune Hotel which is connected to the airport. Reached the hotel around 10is and we are tired already, so just checked in and dozed off to slumber almost right away.

Day 1 - Sunday 19 Apr 2015

Woke up early around 3.30am..got ready, irfan was still sleeping of course. We hoped for him to keep on sleeping so as for him to get his rest and easy for us to handle things. But few minutes later when we were getting ready he woke up asking for milk and didnt sleep after that. But he was in a good mood thank God. Hence he managed to witness and experience all the check in process, which was good for his also for an early exposure. Check in was a breeze alhamdulillah. We were early as we had planned, 3 hours earlier so there were almost no queue at all. After settled, we went for breakfast at McD, and made our way to the departure hall. We also had some time to window shop at those free duty shops in the airport. Up to this point irfan was still wide awake, he was so excited seeing the planes (first time for him) and on board the train to the departure hall. And good mood all along as well. On the plane, irfan was like jakun seeing and touching everything heheheh as it was his first time on the plane. After an hour, he fell asleep didnt even had his meal.

We landed at around 11ish. Everything was smooth..Once we passed through the custom and immigration and claim our luggage, we get our sim card from 1010 shop and bought our MTR Octopus card for our traveling around HK purposes. We bought HKD150 each for me and husband and HKD100 for irfan. Next, we took the Cityflyer bus to go to Royal Park Hotel at Shatin to register for my conference which starts tomorrow. We reached around lunch time, thought we had to wait till 2pm to register but luckily the secretariat were still there doing their work. So registration took only minutes and we are done for that day. We took a cab to our hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui because we had luggage and well though we know cab is expensive in HK, we thought might as well just for this one just to save the hassle of walking to bus stops and the hop on hop off. Reached Butterfly on Prat Hotel about 20 minutes later and paid HKD120. Thats about RM60, the fares cover HKD5 for each luggage put in the boot.Anyways..

At the hotel, we rested and refreshed ourselves. Bought kebab at the restaurant just beside the hotel, it was convenient although pricey. All food ar pricey in HK>
